Balans Club Gig Pix - Istanbul, Turkey
On Wednesday night, while in Turkey, we did a club show. With Chris and Jordan not with us, we got some great help from a fill in drummer named Samuel! Thanks Samuel! (Samuel doesn't speak English and we don't speak Turkish, so it was pretty interesting getting the material together!)
To our knowledge, this was the first "praise and worship" gig in a secular venue in modern Turkish history! It's hard to know if this is absolutely true, but a great crowd showed up and a very cool time was had by all!
We hope to come back and do another show some day, but with the whole band next time!

hey guys! thanks so much for all you did coming to our school. :D everyone loved it and just wanted to let you know that the two kids the lights fell on our fine. :) it really meant alot to us that you guys came...just fyi, it was the biggest thing to happen to iga. thanks again and God bless!

Hope you're finally over jetlag.... It's a killer, going westward, eh? Thanks for coming to IGA, our school in Istanbul. The music was great...even without Rick's (broken) guitar. Thanks, too, for being honest and real during the question and answer time. Encouraging to know that you struggle with motives and priorities and getting time in with God--just like we do. Oh...and thanks for shooting baskets with the kids and putting your hands in the paint to leave your "marks" forever (or at least as long as we are still using the building). "Yine sizi bekliyoruz." (We are waiting for your return.)
